My Favorite Spring + Summer 2021 Fashion Trends

My going out clothes have been left alone in my closet, untouched for the past 9 months. I've simply lived in my pajamas, sweats, and hoodies since the beginning of the pandemic and I mean, it is the most comfortable option and I was in bed 24/7 so I think that's justifiable.

I will obviously continue to wear sweats and hoodies a majority of the time because they are my go to easy fit and can easily be dressed up, but I do want to step it up and start getting ready for the day. I honestly feel that I will be more productive if I get out of bed and put on some jeans. So I vow to attempt to get ready and not wear sweats and a hoodie at least twice a week.

I honestly think I might be bluffing and I won't actually do that but we'll see. If anything, I can wear a cute sweat set and accessorize it up. I swear adding jewelry, a purse, a hat, or whatever accessory makes your fit look that much better. I literally put on earrings every morning just because I feel like I look 10x better every time I look at myself in the mirror.

Anyways, if you are too lazy to get ready ready, just throw on some jewelry, and voila, that's your fit for the day. Otherwise, I'm excited for so many fashion trends this year and I wanted to share them with you.

Brown Color Fits

So this one is very obvious and I had started noticing it growing in popularity early in 2020, but I absolutely still love the brown fit trend. I'm a sucker for anything that's brown right now and every store has so many trendy brown colored pieces (specifically ZARA).

Monochrome/Sets

My love for monochrome fits all started with Sharpay Evan's hot pink set she wore under her grad cap and gown. I love 2 piece matching sets, but also just mix and matching pieces that are shades of one color.

Pastel Color Fits

I am just absolutely loving color just in general this season, but I specifically love pastel colored pieces. I love a good pastel pink, lavender, & green and these colors add some fun to your fit and look so good during the spring.

Trench Coats & Blazers

The weather in the Bay Area is super bipolar year round, so I'm looking forward to wearing mini dresses & layering with a cute trench coat or leather blazer.

Texture & Prints & Stand-out Pieces

I love fun prints and unique pieces, I feel they add so much detail and personality to a fit.

Redone a bit oversized but still good fitted jeans

My go-to fit (other than sweats & a hoodie) will always be a pair of cute jeans and a white top that you can dress up or down by adding jewelry, heels or sneakers. Theres so much you can do with basic pieces. Plus, redone/reworked denim adds some personality to your fit.

Open back & Cut-outs

I've noticed that more revealing styles are becoming more popular and I am totally here for it! I absolutely love dresses and shirts with huge backless cutouts and all the unique and creative styles that designers are releasing.

Silk

I love silk material. It will always be a simple and classic look that can be dressed up or down in so many ways.

Scarves

If you're looking for new accessories, scarves are a good addition to look into because they can be worn so many ways. You can implement a scarf into so many different hair styles, you can tie it to a bag/purse, or even wear it as a top.

Lots of knee high boots

I'm just kinda a lotta obsessed with how knee high boots look these days. Everyone looks so good in them and I can't wait to pair them with cute mini dresses this summer and then recycle them for Fall fits.

Thank you for your support, it means the world to me!
